  • second machine

For now I am using one PC will all my Vienna libraries on it, but it's clear that before long I will need a second machine. I know I will need to buy another usb key, but my question is: it is possible to have some libraries on both machines, or will I have to buy a new license for the same librairies. If so, how much money is involved?

Failing that, is it possible to transfer the licenses for some libraries to the other machine and remove the samples from the old machine and reinstall them on the new one?

I tried searching the forums about this, but I did not find answers.

    Thanks,

    Alan

  • You can copy the libraries onto as many machines as you like. You will just need to plug the dongle into the correct machine to make them work. If you do need to duplicate the same library on more than one machine then I would suggest that you contact sales@vsl.co.at as nobody here can give you a meaningful answer to your question about cost.

However, do remember that many libraries can be split into smaller parts, so you might not need two licences.
