  • Extending the range of instruments in VI Pro

I have read in the documentation that you can extend the range of instruments in VI Pro.  It says:  "Extended Instrument Ranges – Extend the range of each articulation up to two whole tones (both in the high and low register) by simply grabbing the handles on the virtual keyboard"  I do not see "handles" on the keyboard.  Is this feature not available on all instruments?  For example I want to extend the upper range of the 3 Trombones sus patch, but I do not see a way of doing it.  How can I do this?

    Thanks,

    Mike

  • The handles are only visible in the advanced view. It's that left/right arrow symbol all the way to the right on the virtual keyboard. Above the F#9 key.
