Just wondering, how do I modify the character eq of an instrument in MIR PRO? Do I just insert a MIR PRO eq as an fx?

You can't edit the Character EQ itself. But technically you can indeed use MIR Pro EQ (within VE Pro) instead, or Vienna Suite's Master EQ to create you own pre-EQ settings. Just make sure to switch MIR Pro's character to "Pure" for those instrument, to avoid overprocessing.
Kind regards,
Thank you!
I actually asked because I saw a character eq screenshot in one of your timpani sound eq suggestions. 😊
I see. These EQs are only available within a special developers-only-build of the software, sorry to say so. I've been hesitating to publish this screen-shot at all, therefore, but in the end it was the most obvious way to answer the original question. 😉
Kind regards,
😊 hehe Why not make it available to the masses? I see no harm. As matter of fact, I would love to see the EQ curve of those EQ presets and see how they are shaping the sound. It will only be beneficial, honestly. Are you affraid it will be overused or incorrectly used?
