I have SE1 and SE1+. I think when I installed them there was some funny business during the installation process where somehow I ended up skipping one of the disks or images or something. But I thought I was just following the dialog boxes. Anyhow, the chickens have come home to roost. Or so I believe.
I can't find certain articulations.
For SE1 I have 113 .dat files on my external drive. For SE1+ I have 56 .dat files. Am I missing some?
When I open Vienna Instruments, under Presets and Matrix, I see some + marks. But under Patch, I don't see any + marks. For Orchestral Violins, I have only advanced and under 05S VI-14 legato, it reads No information available. There is one patch that I can load, but I think I should have more shouldn't I? Something is obviously not right because just above under 04S VI-14 sforzato I get a message that says RAM 1MB Violin ens., 14 players Single notes Sforzato.
I did a rescan with the directory manager but that didn't seem to do anything.
I think the problem during the initial installation is that for some reason I was told to go from the 2nd install image for SE1 to the 2nd install image for SE1+, ie, somehow the 1st image for SE1+ got skipped. Something like that. I figured that the software knew what it was doing, but it did seem odd.
What do I do now? :(
