    I am moving to Yosemite with all samples and programs... Because cubase isn't ready for Yosemite I was just trying to play with GarageBand... There, if I select Vienna Ensemble to load some VSL samples following error pops up: --- Applikation 'Vienna Instrument' hat den folgenden Fehler verursacht: Das Programm 'Synsopos.app' konnte nicht gestartet werden. Wahrscheinlich ist die Datei beschädigt oder inkompatibel, oder die Datei-Zugriffsrechte sind inkorrekt. Bitte laden und installieren Sie die neueste Version der 'eLicenser Control' von dieser Web-Seite: --- What is this? eLicencer Control is up-to-date. If I then load alternatively Vienna Instrument, it starts but finds no samples. Do I use the false procedure or is it a Yosemite issue? If I start Vienna Ensemble or Vienna Instrument directly there is no issue...neither with the elicenser nor the sample location...

    Hi,

    I´d download and install the latest eLicenser Control Center again, and try again after a restart.

    I also assume that you have all the latest VSL software installed, is that correct?

    If you have used the migration assistant, it makes sense to repair permissions (with DiskUtility) and install your main software components from scratch.

    I'm experiencing the same issue with Logic X. I'm not able to load any Logic Project where I'm using Vienna products. In addition to this I've downloaded the most recent eLicenser Control Center and have restarted but no improvement. Is there anything else I can try? I have emailed support@vsl.co.at with a screenshot of the message. Many thanks, Nick

    It's a fresh system. Permissions are essentially ok. To avoid just these migrating problems I installed all from scratch...;-) I just downloaded all fresh from eLicenser and VSL...Programs and samples... In my eLicenser there are only licenses for the samples. Do I have to look for a license for the Vienna Ensemble or Instrument? But why it is running as stand alone with no issue???

    In Logic Pro X I can open Vienna Ensemble. For me only in GarageBand there seems to be an error with the license of Vienna Ensemble...:(

    Hi cheveyo,

    I just learned that Garage Band is a sandboxed software in Yosemite and does not work with eLicenser anymore, sorry to say.

    Hi Paul, thanks for the info... At least in Logic it is working for me and because of Steinbergs problems with Yosemite it is suddenly important...;-)
