Hi folks,
Having just updated my Mac Pro from 10.6.8 to mavericks I can no longer seem to connect my macbook pro which is also on mavericks to it. i have changed the iVP6 to 'link locally'.. the ethernet connection is there as i CAN share screen and i move on the Mac Pro it moves on the macbook pro and both macs say 'CONNECTED' but when i try to find an instance of VE pro 5 on opening up a plug in instance in logic 9.1.8 on Mac Pro the instances on the macbook aren't there (no available instances) despite having loaded a VE pro 5 Metaframe before starting up Logic. When i move the Ve dongle to the mac pro and open a VE pro server on the Mac Pro and cut the macbook out of the equation .. no problems.instances there etc... But as soon as i bring the macbook pro into it NADA..All a bit frustrating. My set up before with snow leopard on the Mac Pro and mavericks on the macbook was fine. No issues. Any pointers folks?
