Where can i find a demo of the basic french horn ensemble legato that comes in the special edit...
When i look for demos on youtube it's always for dimension strings or something expensive. I'd like to have an idea of how the legato on the basic library sounds! Thanks

Hi,
Here are some video tutorials for the Special Editions, and these are the audio demos.
You can also check out the sounds of the Special Editions Volume 1&2 (and PLUS) online with a free session at www.try-sound.com, if you like!
Best,

Thank you. Is there a difference in sound quality (better scripts) between the Vienna Instruments software and the PRO software? I already know the additional features like polyphonic legato and auto humanization ,but does it have better (monophonic) legato transitions and/or better velocity crossfading, for example? Is it like, more features but same quality or more features + better quality/scripts? That's really important for me. Thanks PS: the legatos in the basic player are gorgeous :o

There's no difference in the quality of sound or scripting.VIPro "only" has some additional, advanced features.
IMO, it definitely makes sense to upgrade to the pro version sooner or later. Highly recommended. It's a fantastic piece of software that really makes the samples shine even more. I'd buy it for the humanization options alone.

Hmm ok thanks. Well it's a bit expensive for me right now to buy the pro version but the humanization features look really cool indeed, i'll buy it sometime ^^

The standard version of the player and the overall handling of the VSL stuff has a bit of a learning curve anyway. I'd say just take your time to learn the reins and see how far you can get with the standard functions and upgrade at a later time. [:)]
