    Is there an idiot's guide telling you how to use VSL with Cubase? When I fire Cubase 7.5 up, it starts an instance of Vienna Ensemble with just a Master Bus, but I can't work out how to tell Cubase to use the Vienna Instruments when defining tracks. I've tried adding in channels for specific instruments on the VE instance, but it still doesn't seem to know about them. I don't have Vienna Ensemble Pro.

    I've obviously missed out a vital step...

    A picture of how the two products integrate would be very helpful!

    Hi Charles,

    When you insert Vienna Ensemble as a RACK plug-in in Cubase 7.5, the Vienna Ensemble Service will open in the background.

    Then it´s the exact same procedure as with Logic, in these videos.

    Cubase 'knows about' the channels as you define them in the rack. It will see the number of 'outputs' you've enabled in VE preferences.
