  • Special edition Volume 3 Plus??

Hi, I bought the special edition volume 3 about a year ago. I was wondering why there still isn't a Special edition volume 3 PLUS (like the first two special edition volumes have), in order to get more articulations, etc. Thank you, Sander

  • I had the same issue with Special Edition 4 (didn't purchase it because of small number of articulations ; they include a great collection of instruments, anyway...) and posted a similar post some months ago. I have not got an answer yet.

May it's a future project, may be not. It probably depends on the sales of the basic product and in the interest of the customers.

First, thanks to all for your vivid interest in our Special Edition product range.

There is a reason we didn't offer any PLUS additions for SE Volume 3 or 4. The difference regarding addditional articulations comparing SE versions to the corresponding bigger collections is much smaller compared to instruments which are included in SE Volume 1 & 2.  In other words, it does not make sense to offer any inbetween solution.

We were aware of the problem, that the upgrade path from Special Edition to the Full Versions of the Collection is a little pricey. Therefor we revamped our upgrade scheme, and now you can upgrade from SE Volumes directly to the corresponding Standard Collections. Especially Volume 3 might be attractive in this regard, here is an overview of the SE Volume 3 discounts.

SE Vol 3 to Solo Strings II Standard offers  51 € discount
SE Vol 3 to Chamber Strings II Standard offers 51 € discount
SE Vol 3 to Appassionata Strings I Standard offers 117 € discount
SE Vol 3 to Appassionata Strings II Standard offers 62 € discount
SE Vol 3 to Harp 2 Standard offers 27 € discount

  • The go between for Vol. 4 made sense to me because I have no current plans to obtain the full versions of some of the instruments listed in Vol. 4. Are the new upgrade plans in place? The previous post only addressed Vol. 3 which I don't need because I already have the full versions of the String Ensembles.

  • Hi esperlad,

Yes, the new upgrade paths are already in place.

    Best,
    Paul
