  • Installation problems with Vienna Choir

    Hi,

I migrated my Vienna Choir to a different Mac but the Directory Manager is not able to link the sample folder with the Vienna Instruments software. Am I missing something? I only have my license, the "100_Vienna-Choir" and the VSL software.

    Kind regards

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Migration can always be tricky, I´d definitely install all latest VSL software again, to be safe.

If that doesn´t help, please open the Directory Manager (find it in "Applications" (OS X) or "All Programs" (Win) => then "Vienna Instruments").

Remove all folders - then add all sample content again by drag and drop from your Finder/Explorer.

More information about how the Directory Manager works can be found in this video.

    Best,

    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

thanks for your answer and sorry for the late response. I have done all you mentioned before I asked here. Is there anything more I need than the folder 100_Vienna-Choir? I have the feeling there are files missing. Mine contains the files "100_Vienna-Choir01.dat" to "100_Vienna-Choir039.dat".

I am using the Version 5.3.13333 of Vienna Instruments Standalone on a Mac Pro running Mac OS 10.6.8.

    Any help appreciated, thanks

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Do you have your Vienna Choir license on your ViennaKey, and does it show up in the eLicenser Control Center?

You can always send screenshots to , so I can see what you see.

    Best,

    Paul
