    I'm trying to work out a way of mixing the dynamic patches with sustains and other 4-layer patches. The problem is that they don't respond to velocity in the same way (having 2 layers), and if I change the response through editing velocity curves, the combinations don't sound natural (they just sound like the volume has been turned down for example). So I wonder what strategies other have appllied to add cresc./dim. to sustains and legatos. I could use velocity XF, but I want patches that respond to velocity.
