... I think you get all the... support you're asking for, aren't you? *roll*...

I don't see the relevance of your question here. I don't have the info from the Venue-Presets. I have someone typing "*roll*" at me instead. VSL are spending a good amount of time replying to my questions, and as much time as that costs you, it's not what I want. I'd rather my questions were answered in the documentation (cohesive and integrated, with embedded hyperlinks and an Index), so I wouldn't have to ask so many questions, and you wouldn't have to spend so much time answering them, and you wouldn't be typing "*roll*" at me, since I'd be learning from the manual instead of asking here.

The ReadMe for the Venue Presets states clearly that VE Pro is needed to use them.
I saw that. If that restriction is unnecessary, and if it were removed, more people would use the Venue Presets, the result being more good-sounding user-demos and more MIR sales, I'd think.

VE and VE Pro are not the same on a technical level. What you're suggesting is to add advanced features of a professional product to its smaller freebie sibling. It's not very likely that this will happen in the near future, even if you see it as an "unnecessary restriction".
EDIT to avoid the proliferation of wrong information.

... What you're suggesting is to add advanced features of a professional product to its smaller freebie sibling.I am not meaning to suggest that at all. What I'm meaning to suggest is that the Venue Presets generally require none of VEP's advanced features. That's the impression I got from the documentation, and that impression is being confirmed by this thread. I am asking, what advanced VEP features are needed to run the Venue Presets? I'm not getting an answer to that, so I'm believing the Venue Presets don't need VEP's advanced features. If there are relevant VEP advanced features, and I learn what they are, I might even realize the VEP would be useful to me; but that's not how this thread is turning out.
The only advanced VEP feature I can find mentioned in the Venue Presets documentation is "VE Pro’s Matrix Mixer in some more demanding setups". I'm not suggesting you give the Matrix Mixer away for free; I can understand why Venue Presets specifically relying on the Matrix Mixer would be reserved for VEP owners. Paragraph spacing removed against my will by the capricious forum software.

One example of a VE Pro specific MIR-feature is the ability to route the wet signal components independently from the dry signals. The extensive automatisms available when using Vienna Instruments in MIR Pro's MIRx-mode are another one. - But I'm not trying to convince you to get VE Pro. Either you need it, or you don't.
Thing is: All in all it took me several weeks to create all the Presets available for MIR Pro in VE Pro. It would take quite some time to re-create them for MIR Pro plug-in (which is not the same as the integrated version of MIR Pro in VE Pro) in VE - which is free software. Several Presets wouldn't be completely replicable in any case. - I understand that it is great to get stuff for free, but one has to draw a line somewhere.
... I seem to remember that the raw MIR Engine Projects files (i.e. all MIR-specific data without any instrument specific settings, routing and/or MIRacle settings) of all Venue Presets have been extracted some while ago for internal use. These *.mirep-files are no replacement for a Venue Preset, but they would at least keep you busy for a while. 8-) - I will ask around if somebody still has them, but this won't happen before end of August (... almost everybody is on holiday ATM).
BTW - have you ever thought about getting a demo-license of VE Pro for a month?

You made me install the latest version of VE (non-Pro) which I didn't use since ages, and much to my horror I had to realize that I was completely wrong with my assumption that the application wouldn't load the ToolKit-version of MIR Pro. I was wrong, you were right - there are no differences any more in that respect any longer (... so your wishes have been fulfilled already, and I didn't even know).
The good news is that I just loaded a few Venue Presets into VE (non-Pro), and it worked like a charm, except that no names were loaded for any dummy-instruments already positioned on the stages. What are the error messages you encounter?
