    I give up, the user manual is just not doing the trick. How do I do it?

    Hi, 

    You need to have a surround project in order to get the surround features of VE PRO.

    I got that part, but when I choose the VE Pro Surround plug-in it doesn't matter what I click I can't get that option. Which areas/tabs do I click under the surround plug-in to get the surround pan? I really suck at this and need concise steps from someone who knows the software better than myself

    Hi Paul, I have loaded a 5.1 surround project in sonar platinum . I have loaded a 16 ch instance of VE pro 5 surround and selected 5.1 in ve pro preferences . Inside of VE pro 5 I have loaded a instance of VI pro 2 However I can get any surround features to become available on th VI pro mixer . I have spent a few hours connecting the outputs of VE pro 5 in sonar to the surround inputs as well as a lot of other efforts in the dark . I can't find any documentation on how to achieve this , nor any tutorials . I know a lot of people are having this problem and Iam sure its not this difficult to setup. Can you please give us some simple steps to achieve this , Regards

    Hi,

    Which part of the instructions on page 18 in the VE PRO 5 manual is not clear enough?

    Once you have a surround setup for VE PRO 5 instantiated, you can insert Surround plug-in with a right click on the secondary FX-Rack, right above the channel strip.

    Hi Paul , I realise that I have to select it in the secondary fx , however the problem is I can't get it to be available in that fx bin for me to use the surround pan etc . I will keep going until I get it , beside the manual there's no info anywhere about the surround instance , and inside sonar it seems to not be as easy as it seems . Anyway once I figure it out I will come back and put the steps on here for all cakewalk users , which should save those involved a bit of time . Regards
