    Solo strings, Orchestral Strings, Appassionata Strings, Brass (non-Dimension), Woodwinds, and Voices: Where were the mic's positioned and where were they pointed, relative to the players? In general terms at least? What type of mic's were used?

    ETA: I found this, which lists mics types:

    It also shows a photo of stereo (cardioid?) mics at an angle from each other; and it says "ORTF configuration"; cf.:

    I'm still interested in further info, as I attempt positioning / spatialization in my music. Distance from the players to the mics?
