    Hello all. I recently re-installed VE SE Vol 1 on my new iMac. I actually downloaded all the files from the download manager and it installed them perfectly. After loading up VE Pro I found that all the patches were there and I could load and play sounds. Today I turn on the system and all the patch list has disappeared and I can't find/hear any sounds. I've checked the elicencer programme and I still have the licence The only place where there is reference to the VSL files is in four folders: percussion, strings, woodwind, brass and all they contain are .dat files e.g. SE_Volume-1_Woodwinds_01.dat Is this what is used for the patch database?? I'm very confused because it was working and now there is no sign of the special edition library. Can someone please let me know what might be going on and if I'm being stupid or not?     Hello Jonathan,

    Sounds like the path to your samples is not available anymore.

    Please open the Directory Manager (find it in "Applications" (OS X) or "All Programs" (Win) => then "Vienna Instruments").

    Remove all folders - then add all sample content again by drag and drop from your Finder/Explorer.

    Hi Paul Thanks so much for the speedy help! It turns out that I'd renamed a drive and I obviously hadn't told the directory manager. Phew. All working now. Thanks again Jonathan
