Notion and Staccatissimo ( AKA rep Staccatos )

Hello, I have to compose a segment with Bassons playing staccatissimo ( Rep staccatos ) I try first with staccato articulation, no problem, but If I put the staccatissimo articulation, it still playing normal staccato... How to do ?

Hello Pro-Arte!

The playback rules and VI presets for Notion have been made by the Notion team. As far as I know the staccato and the staccatissimo symbol have the same playback effect. Both trigger the staccato matrix. If the normal staccato or the staccato-repetition is triggered depends on the speed the notes get played. If you take a look at staccato matrix in the Notion preset, you will see that the X-Axis has Speed-Control assigned. If you drag the bar on the X-Axis more to the left, the speed doesn't have to be as high in order to trigger the staccato repetition.
