Basic Software (and Hardware) Needed for First Time User

Hello, I'm ready to purchase the Special Edition Vol. 1. I actually compose within Finale and use Logic 10 for handling sounds and modelling my compositions. I am new to Vienna and would like to start up gradually, therefore I'm asking if I have to use one of the Vienna software products or if the Special Edition Vol. 1 sounds will be loaded in Logic without the use of any other product. Also, I have an iLok usb key used fed a passed version of ProTools: will that be ok for handling my licenses or do I have to purchase a Vienna Key? Thank you in advance

Hello Johannsen!

All our sample libraries come with our Vienna Instruments player and the Vienna Ensemble instrument host and mixing engine. So you don't have to buy an additional software product in order to use the Special Edition Vol. 1. Our products need the Vienna Key (or a compatible eLicenser key by Steinberg) to store the licenses on. The iLok key will not work.
