    I've downloaded the MIDI file for J Bacal's Syrinx tutorial. Which Flute matrix should I use to get the correct patches playing? I couldn't find this information.

    I can't answer your question, but I would suggest the Flute Preset as a starting point.

    Put the file Debussy_Syrinx.fxp into your custom data folder then the preset will appear in the Vienna instruments preset browser.
