    Hi 

    I am trying to play very short staccato notes with Flute 1 and I am getting a pop when the note releases. I am sure it is because I am abruptly cutting off the sample. Is there a way to avoid this? I have VI Pro.

    Just a wilde guess: Have you set a checkmark at the "Release" box?

    I've had pops when I've used the stretch feature to make the notes shorter.

    I am not using the stretch box just simply playing a very short staccato note and it sounds kind of like pulling a cork out of a wine bottle.

    You might wannt to check if you accidentally set the "envelop release slider" to zero. Happened to me once ago and drove me nuts. It should be at 63 per default.
