  • Vibrato with the MOD wheel

Hi, Is it at all possible to increase the amount of vibrato in a single note via the MOD wheel, or any other method? Thank you Alex

  • The vibrato is recorded, so no. However, you can crossfade from a vibrato sample to a non vibrato sample using cell crossfade.

  • Cool, how do you do that?

  • Have a look at page 18 in the manual. The Slot rack is what you're looking for. Put one of the patches in the left slot and the other in the right slot. Click the X so that you can crossfade between them then and then in the Perform area of the player set a CC to control the slot crossfade.

  • Thanks man.

  • Using a wind controller with non-vibrato instruments like the clarinet you can easily add touches of vibrato and it sounds amazing.  It works best on instruments that don't use vibrato often.
