  • Late articulation change with VST Expressions

Hi! I don't know if this is the best forum area, feel free to move this post. I noticed that using VST expressions in Cubase (I'm using Cubase 7.5), if you use arco together with some articulation (like an accent or détaché) the arco line disappears and if you write arco in again the articulation (accent/détaché) carries to the next note after which Vienna Instruments changes back to the sustain patch. However, if you refrain from reentering arco, the articulation changes back right away (as it should). Do any of you know what's going on? And how to fix it? Cheers

  • Hello Erik!

I can't reproduce the behaviour you have described here. If you want to, you can send a Cubase project with a reference to your forum post to support [at] vsl [dot] co [dot] at and I will take a look at it.

    Best regards,
    Andi

  • Me neither, it seems like it fixed itself when I restarted everything, no disappearing lines or anything. I'll let you know if it pops back up again. Thanks!
