Hi, after downloaded and installed SE Vol.1 I noticed that is "only" 26,9Gb compared to 40,4Gb posted in SE Vol.1 system requirements.

Hi,
There are actually 3 data sizes on our website (just in the process of making this simpler for all products):
1) The actual datasize in 24 bit (in your case, 40.4 GB), we also used this size to calculate some headroom on your harddrive.
2) The packed size that is available after installation (roughly 2 thirds of the original size, *.dat files, in your case 26,9 GB)
3) The download size of the highly compressed installation files (*.cab files, 15,3 GB))
The advantage of these compression stages:
A) You get 24 bit quality while you are only using the diskspace and the RAM space of 16 bit samples (we´re using loss-less real-time decompression).
B) The download takes as short as possible.
Best,
Paul
My problem is this: I have Special Edition 1 but can't find my license number. I bought it awhile ago and it is installed on my computer but it doesn't come up (naturally) when I launch PRO 5. I have DVD's, four of them, and the edition is also in my account so, if I needed to, I could downlaod it from my account.Hi,

The box it came in is long gone. I can't believe I didn't authorize it. I am not absolutely sure if VSL was using the elicenser when I bought it. Any help and I'll be very grateful, even I can get the email addrees of someone at VSL who could help me.

Hello stevejanman,
I have checked your registrations, and your Special Edition Volume 1 has been registered.
You have moved the license 3 times, to different keys, now it is stored on a key from 2003 (I can´t tell you the serial number in the forum).
Hope that help! If you need more assistance, please contact us under .
Best,
Paul
