Slave adress

Hallo there,

I'm using Sibelius 5.2 and vienna ensemble pro. I wondered myself, why I can not hear a sound even if I follow the instructions in the manual. Than I found out, that sever interface shows: STATUS "NOT CONNECTED" and SLAVE: "NONE". I think that might be the problem. But to connect I have to enter the Slave adress. Could anyone give me advice where I can find it on my PC (win 7 prof)?

Hello Timo!

Please start the application Vienna Ensemble Pro Server (64-bit) first. Then you should be able to connect to it with the plugin.

Dear Andi,

first of all: thank you so much for your patiently help. But I can not manage and solve this problem. I know now, that the problem is hidden behind the conection between Sibelius 5.2 and vienne ensemble pro 5.

I searched my hole PC, I renewed all programms, everything is on the newst level, but I can not find the vienna ensemble pro server. Even If I do every step as described in the video, I fail.

I am really sorry about this timestealing conversation, but I have to solve this problem.

Hello Timo!

You can find Vienna Ensemble Pro Server in your Windows start menu. If it's not there, I recommend downloading and installing the latest version of Vienna Ensemble Pro.
