    How fast can a violin do Pizzicato in real life? If a really good player has 2 fingers (and two holding the bow) is it possible to play very quickly?

    It's one of my favourite things to do in VSL, but I never hear real musicians doing it.

    You could listen to "Pizzicato Polka" by Johann Strauss to hear an example of fast pizz.

    Sometimes 2 fingers is not a lot quicker than 1 finger. Personally I find it quite tricky, but I can do one fingered as fast as most people can do 2 fingered.

    Another good piece for fast pizz is Playful Pizzicato from Britten's Simple Symphony.
