    I currently run MIR pro, VI Pro2, VEPro, Dimension strings, Vienna Imperial and tons of other VIs.  I currently have an Intel - Core i7 2600, 3.40GHz Quad 8 processor and 16 GB of DDR3 1600 RAM.  Will I gain anything by doubling my RAM?  I occassionally get millisecond drop outs in sound when using VIs (it does NOT effect records however) and I am wondering if this may help or shouold I be looking at buffer settings on my audio interface and VI software.
