I don't know what you want to know about "flexibility".
With the DVD-Version:
The Vibraphon is coming with 3 different mallets soft, medium, hard (probably felt, plastic and wood).
You will get single hits and rolls (fix speed) and this for articulations without vibrato, slow and fast "vibrato".
Listen to the demos:
http://www.vsl.co.at/Player2.aspx?Lang=1&DemoID=4908
and also: (Vibrophone amongst other percussion instruments)
http://www.vsl.co.at/Player2.aspx?Lang=1&DemoID=4906
With the download-Version:
(probably the same as with the DVD, didn't compared the two contents)
Checkout yourself: Sample Content.
There is also a demo with the download vibraphone (single instrument).
It is done with MIR and the vibraphone is unfortunately very far away played... Maybe good to know:
The vibrophone comes completely dry without any reverb. So it is a good choice for jazz- and similar pieces as well.
BTW: I never heard a better recorded "sample-vibraphone"..

Thanks Beat, that's really helpful. I've also heard from VSL that I can use my keyboard sustain pedal to dampen the sound. there is nothing worse than a constantly sustained vibraphone! Good to know that you think it a really well recorded sample vibraphone. I'm looking at this and one other but this has the most flexibility in terms of mallets, none sustain/sustain, vibrato on/off bowed samples etc.I don't know what you want to know about "flexibility".
