    Hello

    I'm working with a project, in Giga160, that has around 40 instruments. When I load it, there is a big freeze when it reaches the 29th instrument (trombone), then it goes slowly until the end. Is this normal? Is there a way to fasten loading?
    I work with a Pentium 4 2.66GHz with 1.5 GB Ram.

    You probably already know this, but there's a tool named 'Gigastudio load time optimizer' that keeps GS from falling asleep while loading. Google leads you right to it.

    '[:D]'Thanks a lot. I was starting to regret the day I bought Giga.
    I have two other problems if I'm not taking too much of your time.
    One is that when I start Giga after booting it usually crashes, even if I wait a lot
    The other is that if I am using performance tool and Giga160 there are gaps and breaks when the sequencer plays midi. I have an external Cubase SX and in Performance I have the configuration that is written in the manual.

    Hmmm, I'm not really an expert on debugging the workflow with Gigastudio. I guess I'm lucky it works almost flawlessly for me most of the time. But I did read somewhere that it's advisable to wait a minute before starting Gigastudio right after booting the machine. That's because Windows XP is still busy doing some internal bootup organization while the workspace on your screen is already built up and the machine /seems/ to be ready to go.
    Just have some coffee before starting Giga. That might fix it. Good luck!!
    The Midi problem I don't know about. Anyone else...??
