    Is VSL able to supply us with a complete list of articulations for the final version of the Dimension Basses? I do understand that initially the staccatos, sustains, pizzes and tremolos will be made available in the beginning of March. 

    Usually the basses have a few less articulations, and I was wondering what will be left out, if anything. The Dimension Strings Sample Content page on the site lists only the Viiolins, Violas, and Cellos.

    The Dimension Basses released today are titled "Bass Preview". On the vsl website it was stated: "On March 1, 2014 the essential patches of Vienna Dimension Strings’ Double Bass Section will be released. On this day, the early bird pricing will expire and the price of Vienna Dimension Strings will go up to €1,190. Bass staccatos, sustains, pizzicatos and tremolos will be available right away, and you’ll receive the rest of the double bass section’s articulations at a later date." Are the Bass staccatos, sustains, pizzicatos and tremolos included in this release today? Thank you.

    Todays preview release of the Dimension basses includes the announced basic articulation.

    The final version will offer all the articulations which are available for Dimension violins, violas and cellos.

    All the necessary settings are ready for release already. They be available in form of an update during the next few days.

    Hello VSL Team!

    Today I used the Dimension Strings Doublebass preview for the first time.

    I had to notice, however, that the preview is missing some sustained (sVi) patches (notes) of the standard range

    at the lower end: E1 to F#1 (at least).[:(]

    Would be nice to have these.

    Will there be a preview update?

    OR WILL THE FULL BASSES COME OUT SHORTLY ANYWAY?

    (I think many people are impatiently looking forward to the completion of this well done library)

    Edit: It will be VERY helpful to have the same preset and matrix configuration as with the other DS instruments!

    In any case, it sounds great!
