    Hi Dietz,

    A few years ago I requested this and you thought it was a great idea, but obviously no one ever committed to promising anything (which is ok).  I was wondering if you ever did, or will ever have this implemented?

    My goal is that when my violin sections are playing harmony or back ground lush sounds to have a setting of "warm" and then when they take the lead go back to "pure" or "air".  I actually use those character presets more than I use vienna suite presets.

    How are you feeling about this these days :)?

    Hi Maestro2be

    Automating the selection of  Instrument Profiles wouldn't make much sense (... I would rather use two different instances / MIR Icons in case you need different instruments).

    However, automating the _Characters_ within _one_ Instrument Profile sounds like something that could be useful on certain occasions. I'll put this on the list of feature requests - but please don't expect it to be implemented in the near future. - Thanks for your input and your patience!

    And yes to be clear, I was specifically talking about the actual characteristic setting (Air, Warm etc.).  I appreciate even the consideration :).  It won't be the end of the world either way, just a nice request feature for me :).
