    I just got Gigastudio 3 Orchestra and I need help on where to place the VSL instruments on the gigapulse map. Where do I place the percussions, strings, brass and woodwinds? I know there is a multi mic placing mode. How do I use this multi mode with the VSL instruments? The VSL instruments are originaly stereo, do I have to alter their stereo? Do I have to make them mono? What do I need to do?
    I am looking to make them sound like if I was listenign to a score by Hans Zimmer or John Williams.

    There are lots of threads about this theme in this forum-pages.

    B)
    An other possibility is to hear some CDs with your prefered music-style(s). You will acousticly recognice the positions of instruments > this work trains your ears for this part of the mixing-process.

    C)
    Updated now take your expiriances, your ears, your monitors (beter than headphones) and "turn the Gigapulses knobs" until you reach your ideas.
    Do this separately with every instrument-section you have. Compare
    also your results with your reference - CD(s).

    D)
    Be patient. It's a long way to go. On this home page you will hear some super demos with perfect downmixes and instrument-postions. Don't believe to reach this quality in a few days... These arrangers have spend hundreds of hours in front of virtual mixers an reverbs. So they have already done a big part of the long way I've spoken about. On the other hand you have a new product, which would be "a good helper" on your side.
    I am also very intrested in Gigapulse. Unfortunately it is not optainable yet as a stand alone VST PlugIn...
