setting playback features in Sibelius 6.2

Hello, i have set Sibelius with Vienna with the vienna sound set and vienna house style as in the specific vienna manual and all is ok. A question, i don't know how vienna is programmed with the playback features of Sibelius. In a word, do i have to stop in Sibelius 6.2: a) live playback b) live tempo c) performance style d) about the mixer in Sibelius, it is better to let it flat and set pan and volume on vienna ensemble? ? thanks Alessandro.

I'll go straight to yor questions.

a) In fact, I recommend using Live Playback. You can only do MIDI finetuning such as note length, velocity and note start position with Live Playback turned on.

b) You can also use Live Tempo.

c) Different performance styles can also be used.

d) The Sibelius mixer sends CC7 for volume, which affects the Master Volume of the Vienna Instruments. Nothing speaks against setting up the basic volume balance here.

The panorama knobs of the Sibelius mixer have no effect on the Vienna Instruments. Please set up the panorama in the Vienna Ensemble power panner.

As a sidenote I'd also like to mention that I don't recommend making device output and channel settings in the Sibelius mixer as manual settings here can mess up the playback.
