Hello,
I don't really understand the "Dynamics Scaler" (in the "Perform" Tab of VI Pro's "Advanced View [v2.4.12711]). I've already looked it up in the manual, but the "Scales the velocity floor setting in the Slot Editor globally" hasn't really helped me ("scales"? "velocity floor"?).
I've already found out that setting the fader to "127" makes softer notes softer, which seems good to me. But why would there be the possibility to change the relationship between velocity and "loudness" (i.e. low velocity values = soft notes, high velocity values = loud notes)?
Please could someone explain to me the meaning of this fader, and also: recommend me a certain setting(s) for a certain situation(s)?
Vetio
