  • Epic Orchestra - how to choose between string instruments in overlap areas

I know Epic is by design a limited library, which is fine, as it's free… :)

In using the strings, though, is there a way to choose, for example, celli instead of bassi in the area of overlap - C2 to F2? I'm assuming I'm hearing them together, is that correct? I looked to see if there's a keyswitch and couldn't see anything, but I'm still pretty new to VI, so I might have missed it.

    Thanks,

    Myles

    Hi Myles,

Just checked in the Epic Orchestra Manual:

    Appassionata Strings mapping: Basses: B0–F2, Cellos: C2–F3, Violas: C3–F4, Violins: C4–A7 (D#7)

That´s the way these sections are set up in the patch itself, it cannot be changed.

    Best,

    Paul
