[SOLVED] MIR Pro Trial - can't find 'full orchestra' preset - Teldex

I'm sure this is a really dumb question, but I can't seem to find the 'full orchestra' preset.  The manual says there are 2 presets for Teldex with 80 instruments postioned in the hall.  The only presets I can seem to find are empty stages with just the mics set up.  Where can I find these presets?  I'd like to see how the instruments have been positioned by someone who knows how to use Mir.... :)

If someone can point in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

I assume you're looking for "Herb's Teldex Presets" ...? :-) They are available from your User Area's MIR RoomPack sub-site:

yes, that's what I have downloaded.  All I seem to find are the mic setups with no instruments sitting on the stage.   I don't find a 'full orchestra' preset like the manual says, with 80 instruments.  Obviously I'm doing something wrong.  I have downloaded the Mir Pro Venue Presets V 1.4 that is in my user area.  What am I missing??

Like I wrote above: What you're looking for are "Herb's Teldex Presets" - they are a separate download from your User Area and not part of the Venue Presets collection (which are meant to be seen as "empty halls, set up readily for recording").

I am logged in, and neither of Herb's Teldex presets files is showing on my page.  I'll email you the screen shot - I also sent it to the support email.

wgturner, could you explane how to do that little fix you have done? I can't see orchestra preset Teldex too.

In my case, Herb's presets for Teldex had not been linked to the Teldex demo license I received, so they were not available to me.  The sys admin fixed this and then they showed up.  Send an email to support and they'll take care of it for you.
