  • Mapping VE Pro Template to MIR

I have a number of VE Pro templates organized in standard seating. I was looking for an option to get those more or less automagically imported into MIR but found myself inserting MIR on each channel. I did scan the manual but am I overlooking something trival?

Because there is quite some information available (instrument as far as vsl concerned, panning, volume) an initial translation or mapping to standard seating/natural volume would be a temendous helpful feature (and not very difficult to implement [:D]).

    Thanks,

    Martijn

  • "Standard seating" is incredibly hard to implement, as everybody seems to have a unique point-of-view what should be considered "standard" - especially on different stages in different halls, with different arrangements. ;-)

Nevertheless we will supply the integration of all settings I've created for MIRx into MIR Pro with a soon-to-be-released update. This will make the "standard setup" quite painless (as long as your "standards" match with mine ;-D ...). - You will still have to insert MIR Pro on each channel, but this can be done by means of copy-dragging the MIR Pro plug-in from one channel to the next. MIR Pro can then automatically adapt to the pre-defined MIRx settings according to the loaded samples of each Vienna Instruments setup.

    Kind regards,
