    Hi,

after Carl Philip Emmanuel, I just st achieved the first mouvement of this concerto of Johann Christian, who was very close to Mozart and had a huge influence on him. It is a small jewel of galant music, and a real pleasure to play. Enjoy !

  •  Hey Philippe that is great.   Interesting how the sons of Bach are excellent composers but overshadowed by J.S.  I remember reading that old J.S. was considered old fashioned by the upstart young composers.  Now they are all old fashioned as soon we will all be.   Anyway you are so right  about the influence on Mozart!   - in fact, it could be mistaken for early Mozart.   (As opposed to a couple years later - i.e. late Mozart.)  It is great to hear these classics in the new VSL venue.

    Thanks William.

For much better sound, i post on soundcloud a lossless version (FLAC). Don't use streaming (it will be as poor soundcloud sound as the other version) : download it on your computer and use a player like Foobar. Foobar allowed to listen using asio driver.
