  • Problem with loading the VSL Keyswitch Dump for Fianle

    Hi there! So, I copied the VSL Keyswitch Dump.lib file into the Make Music/Finale 2012/Libraries folder, which I found btw in c:/Program Data if this is important. But when I attempt to load it in Finale it's not there. :( I would also like to know if this thing works like some sort of an alternative to the VLS_SE_HumanPlayback. Thanks in advance!

    It seems that you have copied the library file to the wrong place. Please copy it to
    Users\username\AppData\Roaming\MakeMusic\Finale 2012\Libraries

    The AppData folder may be hidden in the Windows Explorer. You can make it visible in the menu Tools/Folder Options/View/Hidden files and folders.

    The Human Playback Preferences only work with the Special Edition. So if you want to use the Special Edition PLUS, the bigger instrument collections or the single instruments, it is recommended to change articulations with help of the keyswitch dump file instead.
