  • Should I get another USB key?

I just bought Ensemble PRO 5 from Sweetwater and downloaded the software. I have a USB key with my Cubase 7 DAW and I installed the software and activated elicense on my master computer. I have a software license on my slave computer so I thought I would be ok in using that computer. However, looking over the manual it looks like I need another USB key to really utilize my slave computer. How exactly will that work having already activated the licenses on my Steinberg USB key?

  • Hello williedavid,

You received 3 licenses for VE PRO 5 with your purchase, so that you can download 3 licenses onto 3 different keys.

You can also move licenses from one key to another easily:

    1) Connect both keys

    2) Open the eLCC Software

    3) Drag the license from one key to another (you need to be connected to the internet).

    Best,

    Paul

  • Thank you for your reply. I am impressed with Vienna and will be a customer in the future.

  • Hi Paul -

My three VE Pro 5 licenses show up on my registered products page, but only one on my elicenser. I've tried updating everything several times without any success. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    Myles

  • Hello Myles,

I have just replied to your emait to

You have received an email containing the activation codes for your licenses right upon purchase.

This way you can download additional licenses onto your ViennaKey:

    1) Insert the ViennaKey you want to download a new license to

    2) Launch eLCC software

    3) Click "Enter Activation Code" and follow instructions.

    Best,

    Paul

  • As usual, it's operator error. I missed the email with the activation codes when I bought VE Pro. One was already activated on my account, so I thought that contained all of them... duh. Working at a help desk must really lower your estimation of human intelligence! Thanks to Paul for setting me straight.
