Sibelius sound set installer (Mac OsX) and Sibelius 7.1.3 problem!

Hi, when I run the Sibelius Sound Set Installer, I receive the message: "Sibelius 5,6,or 7 is required for installing this software", but Sibelius 7.1.3 is installed on the disc! Please help me! Thanks, Luigi.

Hello Luigi!

That's odd.
Which OS are you using?
Does the folder username/Library/Application Support/Avid/Sibelius 7 exist on your computer?
Under Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.8 the username/Library folder is hidden by default. To get access go to the folder username. Then choose Go/Go to folder and enter “Library”.

Ok I have the solution, thanks to your help ... The folder that you have shown me (username/Library/Application Support/Avid/Sibelius 7) there was already in the user's library ... The problem is that was missing in the folder OF THE DISC (for example: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/) .... I've created and the installation went well ... Yes, thanks!!! Indeed my folder was deleted by me when I had problems with rewire: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/Troubleshooting/en362399 Might be useful to include in the installer the automatically creation of this folder. Thanks and compliments for this forum! Luigi.
