Hi,
It would be very useful if it would be possible to name the Output channels in VEPro 5. At this time only Busses can be named, but not the Outputs. Is this something VSL can offer via a future VEPro 5 update ?
Thanks,

The main problem is that these output names are hard to reflect in the master host due to plugin standard limitations. In standalone you can already name your physical outputs from the preferences. I've noted it down for possible investigation though.
Hello Karel,
Yes, you are correct. But, it would be cool if there was a naming scheme that will preserve the main-outputs that are reflected in the DAW, but also add a user-field where the user can add the description of that specific output pair .
i.e.
OUT 1-2 (Solo Cello)
OUT 3-4 (Vln Section)
OUT 5-6 (Solo Vln)
.....etc.
Just a suggestion, I'm not sure if this possible, or easy for you to implement in a future VE-Pro 5 update, but it will save me the hassle of using Output busses just for the purpose of Naming Outputs.
Thanks,

The main problem with that is vertical space in the VE Pro GUI at this point. Long names like that will be elided to something that is barely legible.
Hi Karel,
Yes, I see what you are referring to. Maybe this is something that can be re-designed to allow for custom user naming character space in VE Pro's future/Imporved GUI design.
Thanks for your attention, and feedback regarding this simple, yet very useful feature request.
All The Best,
