    I have a problem that has me stumped. After playing around with Sib 7 and the demo of Mir 24, I switched to a different score. This orchestral score uses the same setup so there was no need for a setup change. But the there was not sound for the flute

    On playback, I can see the part in the Sib mixer. I can see the data changing in Vienna screens, so it is receiving it. But there is nothing showing in the flute mixer meter.

    I have reloaded the flute sound, but it still it does not play. I reloaded the entire orchestra viframe...still no sound. I checked the verify the the instrument was turned on and it was.

    What is wrong?

    EDIT UPDATE

    I notice that nothing comes from channel 1. I was able to get the flute working by putting it on an unused tympani channel.

    Hello thomamd!

    Normally channel 1 works like any other channel. So I guess the error comes from somewhere else. Please check the following things:
    - Is the Master Volume fader, the Expression fader, Velocity X-Fade or the fader in the VE Pro mixer turned down?
    - Could it be that you have disabled the cells in VI Pro?
    - Is the Flute placed outside of the stage in MIR 24?

    Sorry for taking so long to reply, but I needed a break for a few days. You were right. I found that the Expression fader was turned down. Perhaps I did not think of it previously as I direct Expression to Velocity Crossfade.
