MIR and multiple VEP5 Instances on Slave PC
Hi, I am already using VEP5 for a while on my slave PC - great software. Now I am thinking about buying MIR: I tried it on my Master MAC and it's quite heavy on the CPU. Now my question: Can I run MIR and multiple Instances of VEP (about 8) on my slave and have them all on one stage? Because using MIR on 8 different stages kind of sucks if you like to experiment with the various venues. Thanks for any help. Matt Master: Logic on Mac Pro 8core 32GB RAM Slave: Win7 8core 64GB RAM

Thanks for you answer. I had another idea - but I couldn't figure it out: Can I use the MIR Stand Alone Software on the Slave and use the plugin in the VEP Instances? Thanks, Matt

This is currently not possible, but it is possible to save and load MIR Engine Projects between the instances. Perhaps a future update will see an option to synchronize the MIR Pro venue between VE Pro instances...
+1
A MIR Pro synchoronization feature for those of us who are having CPU issues, and have slave PCs. It would be helpful, and great to have MIR Pro running on each salve in VE-Pro 5, and even on a Master computer, and be able to synchronize them. This will help distribute the CPU load, yet offer a unified stage to edit the instruments ! The downside is that one will need to buy multiple-licenses of MIR Pro. and Room Packs too. Unless VSL offers a multi-license option in the future for the Room-Packs.
