download issue

Hello. I didn't see the string collection I purchased in the download section. I saw Download Manager & manuals, but not the instrument. What am I missing?

Did you check that you are logged in with your registered email address (upper right corner)?

If that´s the case and you still can´t see the download files for your registered instrument, please send me a screenshot of these pages that shows that you are logged in:

Thanks. I just emailed it. Additionally, I've gotten as far as pulling up library for epic horns in pro tools via Vienna Ensemble. When I select "effects" nothing is there for me to select instruments. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, 

The screenshot you sent cleared it up: You were looking at the wrong page ("Instrument Collections" instead of "Special Editions" in the User Area). 

To see FX in Vienna Ensemble, some FX must be assigned in the VST plug-in folder of the Vienna Ensemble Preferences (like in any other host).

Hi Paul - speaking of downloads; do I need to keep a copy of my downloaded files, or can I access them in the future, should my present install crash or Harddisk die or... -?

The download files will stay available for you. 

A backup will probably be faster than downloading, in case something goes wrong...
