Audio Crackle since latest VEP update 5.1.12337

Been using VEP on a Mac Mini with VSL Special Editions and Kontakt Komplete, slaved to a MacBook Pro  for a year and a half with no real problems.  Updated to Pro Tools 10.3.5 from 9 and switched to AAX version of VEP in May, and everything seemed to work fine.   Just updated VEP to 5.1.12337, and now I get bad clicks, pops, distorted audio at random times.  Sometimes works a few minutes, sometimes immediately, happens in metaframes with only one instance running 1 or 2 instruments in Kontakt, as well as fully loaded template.

Anybody have a fix?   Updates, settings?   It's kind of a disaster at the moment.   Can I reinstall an earlier version of VEP if I can get Pro Tools 9 back?

Hi jdk90026, 

Is there a reason why you didn´t update to PT 10.3.6 or OS X 10.7.5 (or rather update to OS X 10.8.4 right away)?

I´d always go for the latest official releases and then take it from there.

I updated Pro Tools to 10.3.7, I'll try the OS update next - hesitant on that for other compatibilities, but I'll post back an update...
