Can MIRx use the MIR-Pro Room Pack venues ?

Hi,

Simple questions regarding MIRx.

Basically, Can MIRx utilize the venues available in MIR-Pro Room Packs ?   

i.e. if I have MIR-Pro with Sample Pack 2,  Can MIRx use the venues that are in Sample Pack 2 ?

Hi, 

Simple answer: No.

All impulses of MIRx were created from the various roompacks, and MIRx is a separate product.

Additional info: There will be viframe files for all MIR PRO users as well, Dietz will have those prepared as soon as possible.

I have two more questions related to MIRx.  

Q1. Will there be additional venues programmed for MIRx in the future besides what is currently offered with MIRx ? 

Q2. I already have MIR PRO, I'm trying to decide if MIRx would be beneficial to have as well.  What are the advantages of having both MIR PRO, and MIRx  ?

A1: We have not decided that yet. 

A2: There are none, really. Well, MIRx is simpler to use. I´d say, give it a try with a free demo license (click "try" on the product pages of MIRx, and you´ll also need VI PRO).

Like Paul wrote. But I should add that new MIRx Venues won´t be available in the near future for sure, because it took me literally _months_ to create the 900+ presets of the initial release, and I was about to lose both my good temper and my mental sanity already. [<:o)]
