Quickly Swapping Out Different MIR Pro Presets

Hello,

Maybe this is a simple question, but is there any way to easily swap out and change to different MIR Pro presets from within VEPro 5? I use Cubase along with VEPro 5 and with past projects I have, I'd like to somehow quickly try some of the different presets that have been made available.

what exactly do you mean by "MIR Pro Presets"? The Venue Presets from your User Area?

Sorry - yes, the different venue presets with the various mic positions, ect. I have a lot of older productions using cubase and VEPro 5 where I have used Vienna Suite and not MIR Pro. I'd like to disable the Vienna Suite settings and swap in different venue presets to see if I can find a MIR venue preset that improves the overall sound.

Once you have made a setup in MIR Pro, you can save any number of selected channels as "Channel Set" (either from the "Channel ..." main menu pull-down, or by right-clicking into VE Pro's Mixer or Channels List panel).

After you've loaded another Venue Preset you can easily insert a previously saved Channel set.

Be aware that due to the different stage geometries you will have to adapt the positions of the instruments' Icons when you choose a different Venue than the one you started with.

PS: Another option is to "Merge Projects" from the "File ..." pull-down of VE Pro's main menu. That way you can also exchange MIR Engine settings between projects.
