  • Humanize from/with scores

I went thru the video's several times to grasp the idea behind humanizing. These video's are clear enough. My path of making a piece is at a certain stage: getting all notes on paper/screen with Overture. How do I get those humanizing elements into the notation? As fas as I discovered there are no keyswitches or controls to set........ Or should I set them as default values (manually) before any score input and/or playback?

I am talking about VI Pro2 with Special Editions Strings Vol1/Vol1 plus on a Windows 7 Pro / x64 system.

  • Hello Raymond!

It's possible to control the levels of the Humanize parameters (Tuning, Delay, Humanize) with MIDI CC. You can set up the MIDI controllers for these parameters in the VI Pro/Advanced/Ctrl Map menu.

    Best regards,
    Andi

  • I don't think you really need to do anything fron within the score.  Just set the leve of humanization in the instrument and save it that way.

  • Andy and Bill, I've read your replies and will "dive" into this a bit more.

    Thanks,
