    I use MIR Pro as a plug-in to Notion 4 for reverb on VI Pro Instruments.  MIR is a great program but there's one thing that I've wondered about...

    Whenever I use MIR I usually set the instruments to Natural Volume.  This (to my ears at least) makes the instruments sound right in terms of volume level in relation to each other.  However, this also makes each instrument output a very low volume level, and I find myself then cranking the level of audio output on MIRacle or other plugins or introducing a limiter to increase the low level volumes without blasintg out any louder passages.  

    Am I doing something wrong, or is this normal with MIR?  Should I forget the Natural Volume and start with all instruments at 0?  

    Has anyone else run into this issue?

    OK< so I did a search of the boards and found the answer in some excellent conversation strings by Dietz.  I will search before I post next time!
