  • Routing in Pro Tools

Sorry VEP 5 newbe questions here This is NOT using a VI but a standard audio processing plug-in 1) When I want to route a plugin in Pro Tools 11 but host that Plug-in in VEP this is what I have to do to get audio back in PT. PT AUDIO TRACK with VEP AUDIO IN SERVER routed to 3-4 --> VEP Server - Add Effect (input 3-4 - output 3-4)--> Back to Pro tools 11 ADD and Aux Input route back the audio on Aux in from VEP 5 server channels 3-4. Is this the way I need to to do it? is there a better/different way? I can't off line bounce this is Pro Tools - But I can off line bounce any VI no problem Is there any way to for a audio plug-in to work with off line bounce?

  • Hello Touchwood,

Yes, unless I misunderstood your description, this is exatly the routing I would suggest and I just checked: offline bouncing with this routing works fine here...

Is the processing of the audio signal you have sent to VE Pro via the Audio Input plug-in actually audible during regular playback?

    Best, Marnix
