    Hi,

here is a little tribute to VSL Strings : Just strings (solo strings, dimension violins, chamber strings) and a theorbo (from other library)

    Enjoy !!

    Vivaldi - Summer - mvt3

    Very Best.

  • hi Philippe,

Yet another fabulous sounding performance with this time an admirely subtle ending. This is the material with which the vsl libraries can really shine as you show.

    Best,

    Martijn

  •  I really like this one.  It is so virtuosic I wonder if you should mess it up a little more, but I'm not sure.  Of course there are players who can do this as well, but I was wondering what  more humanize would sound like, but then, I seem to becoming "humanize-happy" these days.  Anyway it sounds great.  I truly love hearing these great masterpieces performed this way because it is a new "view" of them that is very provocative.

  • Wonderful. I'd wished to do this myself. This a some awesome demo of the power of the VSL lib. From this I now know that I've to learn a lot getting those strings "sing" and that it is possible. Thank you.

  • Excellent, nice tone on the strings, bringing  more of the " air" in the tone .  But where is the cembalo?

    Thanks for sharing and posting

    Cheers, JRM

  • Thanks Martijn, William, Raymond and JRM for listening.

I didn't use Harpsichord here and i have  prefered Theorbo, that was usual at this period. I must admit he is completly crashed by the strings (that is usual too [<:o)])

    Best.
